December 30, 2014

Conservationists hope the arrest of  Kenyan ivory kingpin, Feisal Mohamed Ali, 47, might be the beginning of the end of the spriralling trade that threatens elephants with extinction.

Alleged to be Kenya’s most active smuggler Ali was arrested in Tanzania on Monday night after being on the run for two months since a Mombassa raid that uncovered 228 tusks.
